Typ-S info

Square has released some info on their racing game Type-S. According to them, Type-S will bring PlayStation2 owners, “light, sound, air, grit, heat-haze and reflections with an unparalleled level of realism”.

The camera will follow the eye of the driver in the car, not the windscreen of the car as in previous sims. Escape and Square will even replicate the effects of gravity on the body during races, although neither party has gone into detail as to how this will be achieved.

All cars in the game are constructed from official physics data, technical specs and dimensions. Honda, Mitsubishi, Matsuda, Nissan, Toyota and Subaru are all on board, among others.
