Comment: Kituka, you make me sick. Would you just quit bashing Sony for their problems. I don't know if you bought a supposed "quality" Dreamcast, but I did. I ended up returning it three times before I got one that worked. The same happened with all of my games, and it took me three weeks to get a working copy of Sonic Adventure. I would just like to tell you to screw yourself!

Anyway Sony new that Namco, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, etc would support DC and Sony is ready for everything.Those PS2 problems will not exist in the future because if sony doesnt do anything about it then PS2 will lose sales.Upgrades will also be available for PS2.And as strider said when somebody goes to buy a Dreamcast they will need to upgrade it right away to play a game they like because it won't work on the older format.PS2 has great support from developers as well.And the launch games graphics(including effects not seen on the DC) are as good as the quality games available now on The DC.DC is 2 years old and PS2 is only 5-6 days old.Just imagine when developers gain more experience of the PS2 capabilities.Also they say that SF EX3 has some slowdown in 4 player mode.If VF tb3 on the DC had a 4 player mode slowdown would be seen there too,Dead or Alive2 the best fighting on the Dreamcast is coming to the PS2 which took less time to make and with a bit better graphics.Dreamcast had some crap launch titles.Do you remember Godzilla?Psx1 can do better than this.Sega rallys graphics cant even compete RR V graphics.There much more things to say about PS2 being better than dreamcast but there so many i am bored.Those are some things people should give attention to.

Dolphin will be technologically better than PS2 but Sony has the reputation of the best game console and there many PS2 sales.Until Dolphin comes the PS2 will gain more support and quality games.The same happened with PS1.Playstation2s technology is enough to make the dreamcast look like an N64 and enough to remain in life for a long time.

Microsoft X-box will be even better technologicaly than dolphin.But I think
people will stay put with Sony Nintendo and Sega because there are more traditinal in the world of gaming.X box will have many sales but i dont think it can still the crowd from Sony Sega and Nintendo.Microsoft reminds nothing but work on the computer.Not playing games on the computer.

Comment: See dailyradar.com at there Q&A section where they have cleared up this worry about faulty hardware. The problems if you can even call them that are just related to the drivers on the memory card and have nothing to do with the system itself and can easily be sorted be re-installing the drivers on the memory card and by the time the system hits US shores this hicup will have been sorted with new drivers. We should just be glad that the problems are being dealt with now and not later, besides when has a new piece of cutting edge hardware ever come on the market without some minor irritations that needed to be sorted out?

Comment: Hi all, yeah I had too do that same very thing last night, me and my girlfriend wanted to sit down to watch a movies, but minutes for wanting to watching the movies, I had just been playing Ridge racer. I finished the game (Too easy) and then saved it to the memory card. Then I tired to load a DVD movie, but no look what so ever. A black screen is what I got. I tired resetting and a complete shut down, but nothing worked. So I installed the DVD drivers back into the memory card, and then the movies player fine. I am very disappointd with sony at this, because I use to work for Sony, as a product tester. I am not sure why they didn't find this problem. I'll make some enquires, and let you guys know what my source from Sony said. Thanks guys...

Comment: PSX was the least powerful of all the 32 and 64bit machines (late 90's) and with more than 70 million loyal owners. Ps2 is not going to be hurt. Also the add on you mentioned for Dreamcast will create a symphony of angry owners and negative reactions for new consumers. Think about the facts, when somebody goes to buy a Dreamcast they will need to upgrade it right away to play a game they like because it won't work on the older format. PS2 sold over 1 million units in 3days and its problems are remote, small in fact because the u.s release is more than 5 months away. Dolphin is coming in 2002 and Microsoft might be face problems because as most people know it has been branded as a true monopoly and that makes many people edgy. I don't know what you're basing you're opinions on but it does not appear to be business just pure loud mouth foreshadowing,and thus far from fact. I also don't understand why you have to be so amateur about the whole issue with you're foul Language and name calling .

Comment: Well, well, what have we here? Is it possible that Sony, which many of you think is awesome beyond human comprehension, is creating cheap, junky hardware like it did with PS2's predecessor? Sure, DC is inferior (for now), but at least it's built of quality components!!! But, with a new PowerVR chip coming along for DC, as well as other upgrades, Sony and PS2 may soon be at the botton of the "overall power" list. Things sure are turning out for the worst, aren't they? Before you wouldn't believe me, but X-Box is a reality now (HA!!! you unbelieving sons of bitches!!!). You can bet your asses it'll be much more powerful than PS2, which is NOT the God-send many thought it would be. Hell, the thing has almost no texture memory and compression, whch even DC does!!! Also, Namco, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, etc. have announced support for the machine- wadda ya say now? That's what happens when you put your faith in hype. As for Dolphin, expect it to completely blow PS2 away, yet still be marginally more powerful than X-Box. Now, if you all were mature, intelligent gamers you would take absolutely no offense to all this horseshit I've just said, even though it's true. You need to look beyond specs and hardware and start enjoying the GAMES.
