Comment: I read on the net that some MOD chippers have been able to overclock playstation2 1 person said that he could turn up frame rates and had overclocked his PS1 to 39MHz ,Development of Oclk chips had been their goal,PS2 levels were upto 5% better .Bleem.com has the best ps emulation enabling 3DFX trillinear filtering and triple buffering ,far exceding console speeds.crystal clear.

Comment: You know nothing about me Chasborf.ShenMue,Sonic adventure etc were the reason i am still rethinking for buying a PS2.Shen Mue is the game that has everything i always wanted in an RPG..Sonic is my favourite character and DEAD OR ALIVE 2 in the DC rocks.When i said eliminate i didnt mean eclipse.Many times i use the wrong expretions.Actually i was trying to say TTT is a rocking game dude.A game that SEGA wants to compete.If TTT sells well its going to be a killer game.Dont forget Tekken made Saturn look inferior compared to the PS1.Even VF couldnt compete satisfactory enough.TTT is a game people are staying with sony,s console.And its a game that many people want including sega fans.Me personally i like sega games.I want DC and PS2 and Dolphin.And dont you ever say again i am a poor example of a gamer.Even when SATURN was near its "death"there were SATURN games i wanted to include in my collection.I am a PS1 owner but like sega and nintendo games.A LOT.

Obviously you play systems instead of games. There's nothing wrong with liking the PS2, however it is sad at how many great games you are missing out on Sega's machine(or any other that you can't afford or refuse to/don't own)because of your own inability or stubbornness. You are putting only yourself at a loss, bud. Great games are great games no matter what platform they are on. Hell, some gameboy games are kick ass! Specially TTT is the game that can eliminate the success of DC.Tekken games were always an enemy of SEGAs consoles.I saw TTT.The graphics were ultra realistic introducing effects i ve never seen in Shen Mue.The way the lighting effects look on the characters clothes varies depending from the think they wre made of.Leis clothes for example are supposed to be made out of silk.The lighting effects are presented accordingly.
The graphics many times look better than DOA2.Now(that the release of TTT is aproaching) you hear from people saying the graphics are disapointing.GameSpot and other sites said that TTT looked better than Soul Calibur and the graphical improvement between arcade and PS2 version was enormous.
Now you hear different opinios.

Comment: The major concern here is that, Sony have really screwed up by only including 4meg of vram for texturing and to allow for anti aliasing, Because what you get as mentioned in tekken tag is a trade of with the number of textures available for use, and allow a hefty buffer for the high fps, that their is no room left for anti aliasing... removal of the jagged edge look, and i have seen PS2 games first hand and they all have the jaggies problem, this leaves you feeling that these games really dont look very good and that D/Cast games look much better because antialiasing is no hassle on that system, this could be a real problem for sony because if no one gets to grips with smoothing these graphics soon, people will be very unimpressed, and fall away from their system, i mean it could pump out as many polys as proposed Xbox but if they dont have smooth non jagged edges (and believe me it does look very PSX1 at times),it aint worth s**t.

Comment: Hey guys. You have to remember one thing: It's not the PS2's fault that the graphics aren't mind-blowing(which I think they already are), it's Namco. They are not familiar with this new powerhorse. Maybe they have not turned on all the effects yet, hell this is their first game for this system! I'm confident that when we see TTT here in the states, it will look smooth as silk. The potential of the PS2 has not even been scratched yet...the slowdown in SFex was the programmer's inability to fully grasp all the power they could. Rest easy, I'm sure this game will rock in all departments when released.
BTW: I played DOA2 DC(in store demo)and it's freakin amazing!! Only 2 players were selectable, they do look CG quality...and the environments!!! Woooooooo-hoooooo!!! 3-D glory! 3 days, 3 days......

Up until yeasterday or whatever you hear people saying how TTT is just unbelievable and looks to bring in the next generation of graphics, and then you hear about people who thought the game looks plain ugly, etc. What the hell's going on? Maybe, and I'm just saying MAYBE, the people who said this said it after seeing the X-Box demo. Still, even after seeing X-Box, you can't say TTT is ugly, you know? it just doesn't make sense.....

Comment: I personally think that the guy who wrote the article is biased to SEGA or he was playing the Arcade version of Tekken Tag.Well,people should not judge tekken tag if they didn't play the REAL PS2 version because the movie quality sux. The guy who said DOA2 is better graphic than tekken tag must been smoking.

Comment: Re: DOA2, I doubt it Munchy. Seeing both versions, the Dreamcast looks quite similar to the PS2 version. However, some people have claimed that the PS2 version is More detailed and has twice the frames per second, though I don't see it. Besides, the PS2 version took a shorter time to develop for and Tecmo has claimed that the PS2 version was easier to develop for than the DC version. This could mean that it's easier to make a DC-quality game on the PS2 than on the DC, right? We'll have to wait and see if other developers confirm or if Tecmo knows something a lot of developers who are programming for the PS2 don't know.

Comment: well just because of this little dissapointment shouldnt mean that we judge .the ps2 first generation titles as said before were not going to look spectacular but expect better from second generation titles.the ps2 is a superior machine not a lot of developers had time to tweek with the system .causing rushed games into the market .expect by 2001 to see sony bring whoop ass games to the market .And hopefully tekken 4 will put tag teams graphics to shame.well at least for now we can expect doa2 to be far superior to the dreamcast version.i hope
