Koei interview

Core kicked up an interview with Koei about their PS2 game Shin-Sangokumusou.
Here’s a bit:

Question: In regard to development, what problems have you encountered?

Suzuki-san: Considering the PlayStation2 is new hardware, we've struggled through trial and error by testing out new things. Since it's essentially an action game we're forced to make it 60fps, no more or less. So we're trying to make the animation as detailed as we can within the 60fps limit, without causing control problems. Its been very difficult. Right now we're motion capturing animation for the soldiers and the general. We want the characters motion to appear realistic, and increase the overall graphic quality, but it's a struggle.
