Robotech for PS2

Looks like there is a Robotech title in development for the PS2.
Here’s slice of IGN’s article:

Mattel Interactive announced today that they are in the works with Harmony Gold to publish games based on the anime series Robotech. Unfortunately, no specifics have been decided upon, including system of choice -- Mattel was even cautious to say what systems would be likely for the new Robotech games, even though they would be excited with the commercial and technical possibilities of the PlayStation2.

In responce to a message that Mattel and Harmony Gold are developing a Robotech game. Their system of choice is the PS2 according to the Official Playstation Magazine, but no other details have been released as far as I know.
