X-Fire review
Posted by @ 7:13 AM, EDT
Gamespot posted a review of EA’s action game, X-Fire.
Here’s a bit:

Though X-Squad has some good ingredients, it feels like it could have been better with more time in development. The game is fun in the beginning, but becomes a bit tedious after a few stages. It's similar to old FPS titles such as Doom and Quake where you run around hitting switches to unlock doors - elements that were exciting enough back in the day, but feel dated now since recent games have raised the bar with more in-depth gameplay. X-Squad attempts to provide this by making you the leader of a group and letting you give orders to other members of your team, but the soldiers end up really being useful only as decoys.
