Madden NFL 2001 preview

We added a preview of EA’s PS2 Madden game.

Another aspect of Madden, which has also been dramatically enhanced, is the game physics. It has been said that Madden 2001 will set the new standard, raising the bar of realism in sports games. Collisions for example, happen to be a major part of any football game and in Madden, collisions with players have a highly realistic and dynamic outcome.Full preview

| This is to the Xbox guy. I am a current dreamcast and playstation owner and player , and also turbographx and Intellivision II. The last two might be before your time, but on the serious tip I agree that the Xbox will be superior to the ps2 and dcast but are you playing a xbox now or are you going to wait a year or longer or go ahead a try to get a ps2 now instead of looking crazy on 26oct2000? | |

| Name: dzormagen, E-mail: , XBOX4EVER don't try to find cheap excuses to make the PS2 look inferior compared to other systems.I've playied both DC and PS2 and each feels different almost are both the same as good.The only problem is that the DC controller fells weird as Jason said but that doesn't mean that it sucks ofcourse. BOTH CONSOLES ARE GOOD OK?It's just that the PS2 is more future proof because of technology and support. |

| lol XBOX4EVER, that is the most stupidest bunch of BS that i have ever herd, NFL2K1 will be better then Madden 2001 because of the controller, lol. If you ask me, the ps2 controller is much more better then the dc one, the ps2 controller fits perfectly in your had and will rumble when someone gets tackeled, because of the built in rumble pack it has. And i think the DC controller sucks, the controll feels wiered and you have to buy a rumble pack. | |
