Timsplitters preview
Posted by @ 3:35 PM, EDT
Gamespot UK posted a preview of Free Radical Design's first-person-shooter.
A slice:

Playing the game, the first thing that becomes apparent is that when it gets hectic it gets really hectic, with bad guys coming at you from all angles. Carter claims the AI is so strong the enemy bots will try and out-flank you, running around buildings so that they can attack from the rear. Also they have no fear of heights, so when creeping through a level trying not to get noticed (stealth plays a part) keep an eye on the tall buildings - chances are there'll be someone up there with a gun.

well what can I say? it looks quite good but blasting robots and somekind mechanical aliens isn`t as cool as shooting the zombies heads off, or blasting the other human characters so that they lose some limbs. So more kingpin and unreal tournament style action please.

I think it's a nice game.Nice graphics(not as good as I hoped so but very nice) the story sounds interesting and indicates variety and the gameplay info sounds promising.MULTI PLAYER HERE I COME!

No doubt this game is crazy!
But. Only on the multiplayer side of things.
The whole concept of constructing your own building has bought me in. So I'mma get it.
The shity part of the game however is that the character models are, lets face it, rediculous.
I love the real life simulation type shoot em up games(ie. Rogue Spear types).

To sum it all up, the game itself doesnt seem so exciting. But the multiplayer mode is definitely ill and thats the only reason why I'll buy it.

Adios amigos
