Gamespot also reports that a Spyro the Dragon title is in the works for the PS2, PC and GBA.
Here’s a bit of the article:

"Spyro the Dragon is a terrific franchise, and we are pleased to have come to agreement on this property," said Hubert Joly, chief executive officer of Havas Interactive. "We have been exploring a strategic relationship with Universal Interactive Studios for some time, and we look forward to further opportunities under the Vivendi-Universal corporate umbrella."

MAN SCREW SPYRO THE THING I THINK SHOULD BE DONE IS THAT SCEA SHOULD MAKE THERE OWN MASCOT UP ONE THAT IS WAY BETTER THEN SONIC AND MARIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
