PS2 pre-order disorder

C&VG also posted an article about the PS2 pre-order mess in the UK.
Here’s a bit:
Shop floor staff at some high profile branches of several major games retailers simply don't understand how the first-come first-served scheme works. They are giving punters inaccurate information which might mean they miss out on the chance to get a PS2 before Christmas.
And some stores have been operating pre-pre-order schemes - taking orders for PS2s before Sony's offical pre-order launch this week. Which could mean that some stores may have already used up many or all of their pre-order allocations before they even open their doors tomorrow - a situation that would be certain to outrage punters queuing on Thursday morning to ensure they get a PS2 before Christmas.

| im kind of curious how people are supposed to get a psx2 if there is no further preodering and why you cant get a playstation 2 unless you do preorder even on the release date.I feel that makes for very poor guest service. | |
