Orphen's PS2 Exploits

FGN asked Orphen’s developer, Kadokawa Shoten, how it exploited the PS2 technology.
Here’s a slice:

The representative continued, "Kadokawa Shoten has managed to maximize performance even with up to 16 light sources simultaneously on the same screen. And particle system implementation allows realistic flowing motion of fog and smoke in reaction to player's motions.
