Gamin Age posted some information on Konami’s music title.
Here’s a bit:

At the bottom of the screen there are your keys, and the “special” key on the left. Once the music starts, colored bars above each key will scroll up from the bottom, and as soon as these colored bars hits a certain line toward the top, the key has to be pressed. Depending on how accurate the presses are, the game will give out a grade accordingly.
