Unreal Tournament impressions

IGN posted some impressions along with movies of Epic’s PS2 shooter Unreal Tournament.

To be honest, the play was both great -- simply because finally got to play it here at the offices for the first time -- and a little rough. Despite Epic's great efforts to bring Unreal to the consoles, the difference between the PC and console first-person experience is so vast that they can't even be compared. It's just not the same, so we won't compare them. Having said that, UT for PS2 is a respectable piece of code. Once all of the customizable selections are fully in place, and players settle in with the PS2 Dual Shock, or hook up their USB compatible keyboards and mice, the real game can begin, and PS2 will finally get a great version of Unreal Tournament.
