Shadowman: 2econd Coming review - Comments (0)
Posted by @ 3:25 AM, EDT
We added a review of Eidos Shadowman game:

Continuing the horrible trend that the games story established are the games miserable graphics. Key amongst the offending issues is the games slow, yet incredibly choppy framerate. How it can be so pathetic while there are only two textures and one guy on screen are beyond me, but it is terrible, and it makes the games sloppy controls all the more difficult to deal with.

State Of Emergency review - Comments (0)

We also posted a review of Rockstars riot game:

SoE is very easy to pick up and play, but eventually the smash 'n' bash action will tire most players out. The basic formula of beat 'em ups remains the same in SoE, roam around kicking and punching people, find a weapon, run around and kill people senselessly, locate the heavy armory, destroy stuff, throw items at things including the likes of limbs and heads and move on to the next objective. While the game boasts more than 170 objectives, they become repetitive very quickly to the point that we wondered if we were ever going to finish a level.

Thunderstrike review - Comments (0)

We added a review of Eidos helicopter-sim Thunderstrike:

Once on a mission you are forced to put your knowledge of the mission, your flying and combat skills all together, and do it quickly at that. The game is very unforgiving when it comes to easing you into combat, and youll quickly find yourself outnumbered in almost every level. This is where the game gets frustrating youre going to die, and youre going to die a lot. This problem is exacerbated by having to go all the way back to the main menu and suffering through many load screens before getting back into the thick of things.

We also posted a review of the latest game in the Hot Shots Golf series:

Replay value is where this game becomes your new daddy. Numerous modes abound include Tournament which consists of twenty (wait for it) tournaments! Then theres Versus mode, where you get to battle the hidden characters in hopes of unlocking them for later use. Lets not forget your usual Stroke play, Match play, Multiplayer options (up to four) with the only thing missing in action (again) is the mini-golf.

Pirates: The Legend Of Black Kat review - Comments (0)
Posted by @ 7:17 AM, EDT
We posted a review of EAs pirate game:

Like its gameplay, Pirates graphics are sometimes outstanding, and other times downright disappointing. The characters, particularly Kat, are all large, very detailed and smoothly animated. Kat, like many heroines is an attractive and well-endowed bad ass chick. Shes got a wide variety of attacks, most noteworthy are the Matrix-like attacks she performs amongst several other slick moves.

Star Wars Jedi Starfighter review - Comments (0)
Posted by @ 7:16 AM, EDT
We also added a review of Lucasarts latest SW shooter:

Graphically, Starfighter was a beautiful game, and Jedi Starfighter is even more so. Tons of ships appear on-screen at once, along with gigantic capital ships. The land based missions sport hi-res textures and detailed structures that are a sight to behold. However not all the textures in the game contain such minute detailing and I noticed a few polygons clipping and popping in here and there. Also more than once it got to be too much for the system and the framerate subsequently takes hits. It never affects gameplay, but it is noticeable. Overall however, the graphics are more than capable.
