Story: Taking place after the events of the Jurassic Park 3 film, Jurassic Park: Survival takes the best movie-moments and elements of all three films to create an all new Jurassic park adventure! JP: Survival takes place after the third movie and as David Vaughn, head technician of the security team, you are on a mission of research. It is Davids job to set up security and ensure the dinos cannot get off the island. But your fun is about to be cut short. A shadow corporation, as seen in the first movie, on a search for Dino DNA, has paid off the security force there to protect you. You are attacked upon arrival.

The team is ambushed: some are taken hostage, and rest of you are left behind as dino food. You try to escape on the helicopter that brought the team to the island, but the guards target and destroy the craft before it makes it to safety. You are swept over a waterfall and believed to be dead.

When you wake up, you find yourself deep in the jungle, with only a few items of equipment. You must find and rescue the other team members, survive a hostile environment filled with hungry dinosaurs, and defeat the terrorists.

Summary: Jurassic Park: Survival combines the best elements from other popular action/adventure games and improves upon the formula. This title contains environmental puzzles and the freedom of controls of Tomb Raider with more action and purpose to the players inventory. It is filled with action elements similar to Resident Evil/Dino Crisis with the added feature of total freedom of movement and player POV in the environment. In addition, strategic use of purposeful inventory, ala Metal Gear Solid, is key to advancing through the levels. Jurassic Park: Survival also brings in a new element of gameplay using the dinosaurs as useful aliens and not just mindless targets to be shoot.
