Smuggler's Run
PS2 Reader Review by Kevin Calhoun ()
This game is an excellent one with amazing graphics, realistic driving and an assortment of missions and objects to hit. Let me first start out by saying that the graphics in this game are amazing, with the sky looking real and the view forward looking like it never ends, and it practically doesn't, I played the game for about 3 hours and I didn't even go to every spot or really know where I was. How did the game pull this off, by making mountains, hills, and drop offs, trust me it seems like it never ends. As for the reality of the game let me tell you about the countless objects that you can hit, which include: pedestrians, bears, deer, campers, cars, plice cars, and even fisherman icefishing. And when you hit them they take the course of what they really would if you hit them with your car. The object of the game is to smuggle goods across borders and drop off smuggled goods at spots. Also there are other cars that will challenge you in racing and dropping off smuggled goods. The level you can access is huge, which I previoulsly talked about, but it is sweet because you can pick which terrain you want from a baren desert, to a frozen tundra, or a forsest with plenty of objects to hit. Your vehicles are generally offroad with a wide selection. The vehicles are rugged and fast making this game sweet to climb steep cliffs but keeping this game realistic. Overall this game is probalby a 9 out of 10 with graphics being a 9.5, gameplay a 9 and general fun, like hitting things and joyrinding around in sweet vehicles a 10. This game is not very widely known right now but I think it will shortly.
