I hate this game, it isn't even fun anymore. I will stay on because I ultimitaly enjoy playing, but I am not even worried about the rest of my season, I am just going to work more on the administrative end. I will finish out and I will draft high next season and I will pick a great team and I will be outcoached at every turn by every other coach, because lets face it, I am a victim of my poor ass coaching as oppossed to my lowsy team. Look at the stats Manning, 5 he was rated 5, and 12 rushing yards...... Harrison with 0 catches on many attempts, etc.
So even with a great team unless I can learn how to play this game, I will always end up losing to someone with a poor team and great coaching skills. Think of how it is when I play a real coach with a real team, like Trotter. I mean Trotter scored the majority of the clutch points in half one, he really didn't try to score at all in the second half. He basically tried to run out the clock, he called plays cause he HAD to. He scored because HE HAD TO. I mean even when he isn't trying to gain multiple yardage, he was gaining it....
K, I'm done with my rambling...... I find this game utterly boring after the 1st Quarter. I mean I started out making Trotter go 3 and out, not gaining any yardage, then on my first play I gain 10 yards, but then get sacked, get sacked and get out of FG position. End of any chance I had to get points on the board happened when I got pushed 20 some yards out of FG range.

Game Notes:
The Losing Bug just won't leave. If I can't beat the Jags twice then kiss a WC goodbye. Because If I don't get that done, I will have lost (counting Ten) 5 - 6 Div. games, plus my earlier to, which mans 7-8 losses and no one with that record gets a WC.
I pretty much need to run the table to do any good whatsoever.
This game started off promising, a nice drive to start by me, had to punt, but stil managed to get a run game going early. The run game stayed in phases throughout, not a great running game, but good considering I have one really great RB on my team.
Anyway, Texans drive ends in a punt, my drive goes for a TD Texans drive starts with crappy special teams play (kicking it out of bounds), end of Q. punt by Texans, punt by me Texans have bad field position, but manage to get a FG. Then I get a TD, I'm up at half.
Oh and somewhere in there was a missed FG by Vandy, a long one, but barely missed the left side of the upright.
Eventually the game ends up tied at 14, I get a TD and raise it to 21 (yeah I know something doesn't add up right, I forgot all the other stuff cause the GF (who by the way was complaining the whole time) was throwing my memory and my game off, even though my game changes helped tremendously and INT Manning had none al game. Also no fumbles.
In fact, my D came up with a forced fumble on the QB and 2 INTs and still couldn't stop the long ball.
Finally I do hit 1 FG (of three) and am somhow up 10 at this point 24-14. he drives gets a score, I drive do nothing, punt, he barely drives gives me the ball, I stop the game as much as possible leading by 3. I get into (what I think is FG position cause I tried a new Camera view and couldn't see the markers). and set up for a 56 yard attempt.... needless to say I missed with 38 secs left. He runs some quick plays and goes three outs and hits a long ball on 4th. Then he goes another three but hits on his third down for what would be the winning TD as none of my guys came close.
he kicks off, I go through 3 blown attempts (all my receivers covered. I finally hit on 4th down to Harrison for 45 yards. call Time out with 1 sec. left... the Madden Gods must like me, I set up my money play and the ball is gracefully thrown through the air as time icks to 0, and Quadry Ismail leaps up with no one on him, reaches for the ball in the endzone and proceeds to drop it while he was wide open. Game over, I lose by 4. 28-24. Ismail (my best receiver every other game comes in with 0 catches and 2 drops, the last of which killed me.)
That is the story of the Colts life, for the most part a flawless Offensive game, decent defensive game (actually outright won the Turnover battle 3-0), and a horrid special teams effort and I still lose to the worst team (by the numbers) in the league. Hell anyone from the Euro Football league want a wn, PLAY ME!

It couldn't have started off any better, opening toss won by me, I choose to kick. On the first Texan Drive, I stop them three and out, he is forced to punt. I run one for an immediate first down, then catch his secondary off guard for a 46 strike to Harrison for a TD. Colts up 7-0 early.
The Texans showed life on D but nothing on O as both teams traded possesions (most of his due to my D stepping up and creating Punts, one of his a punt, the other an INT)
He takes the INT drives for a FG, no problem Colts can cap it off there right.... NO! 7-3 Texans. Another drive where the Colts (who have been so good at the run) can't stop the run as they go in for a TD 10-7 Texans.
Colts take it for an INT, another TD Texans (after a drive). 17-7 Texans. Colts go in and settle for a FG to end the Half. No problem, I get ball back to start 2nd half.
I go three and out, he gets does a punt, another 3 and out by me, another TD by Texans. Long story short neither of us scores again until about 3 minutes into Quarter 4 where I am backed up to my own 5 yard line, go for a Long Bomb to Harrison, only problem is I don't get the ball out of my hands quick enough and Manning Fumbles (which it didn't matter as I saw a Safety about to happen). Safety does not happen as none of my people understand ball recovery and Texans recover in the endzone, TD Texans. I basically run crap D plays hoping the time will double time till the end of the game. It could not come quick enough. Colts are officially out of the running for any post season play 4 weeks into the season. (I have a rematch with the Texans for week 6 at my place, like it matters, and a rescheduled game with the Jags, to complete my remaining games). If I can't get two wins there, I will be heading into the Titans Pad with a 0-5 record.
Colts are officially wishing for the services of Pats to be reinstated as Coach, they say at least he was able to beat the Texans even if he does suck in the AFC East.

Sucky game in the clutch. Made no real mistakes on offense, except when I missed an easy FG early on and then on my last possesion when I failed to move the ball past my own 20 yard line setting up an easy FG for the Bills to win.
Defensively stopping them wasn't an issue until late in the game when thy made a comeback to get right back in there.

I don't have any stats because...I Suck!
What started out as a fluke, getting blown out once in the first 4 pre-season games, has now officially become an epidemic for the Colts. Before they couldn't stop anybody, but couldn't be stopped either, therefore allowing a close game... but lately not only can the Colts not stop anyone's offense, the high powered offense of a healthy Edge, Marvin Harrison, and Peyton Manning, well they can't do anything. Peyton throws too many INTs (none of the receivers can get open) and Edge has been coughing up the ball lately as well as Peyton, Marcus Pollard can't catch the ball, and wide open receivers including All Pro Harrison drop the ball. The only real time Harrison catches the ball regularly is as he's getting hit.
Special teams is a joke, and this organization is being exposed for the frauds they are. In All Madden the talent pool is less talented.... Many other teams maybe having that same problem, but in 10 games played (preseason) only 1 game has been won... and the one that was won, was against Dajo's Falcons by a small margin, right before he came back and kicked my ass in the next game...
