Week 5: Shaun ALexander & the Seahawks storm into Week 5... get win #2

ARIZONA (MP)- It was just another day in sunny Arizona, but not for the Seahawks or Cardinals. The Seattle Seahawks get back on the winning side with a win over the Arizona Cardinals, 37-0. The Seahawk's defense came to play as they let up no points. Tongue, the Seahawk's leading defenseman pounded the Cardinals offense for an amazing eight tackles, one of which was for a loss. Tongue also intercepted two passes, and sacked Mr. Jake Plummer twice.

Things weren't looking good for Arizona, as they were forced to punt on almost every drive. On the flip side, Shaun Alexander lead the offense to a point scored on every drive the first half. Although his numbers are not outstanding, Alexander proved to be the x-factor of this game.

"Picking up 3-4 yds a carry is really something that kept our offense on the field, and our defense off. " said Coach Hurricane

The Seahawks controlled the clock for most of the game, having almost a 4:1 ratio of ball time. When you think the Seahawks would get conservative on defense, you were wrong, they played the whole game through. Dilfer, making only his second start, was given a second chance after a frightful loss to the Browns.

"I felt that you can't judge a player's performance on one game, Trent went out there today and proved to me he's got every bit of talent that we ask of him. Although we didn't pass much, when we did, he got the job done right. Hassleback's time will come, but we've got to let the veteran take control of the game." Hurricane was quoted.

And so a glorious day ends for the Seattle Seahawks. Next week they fly out to good old Lambou field of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Coach Hurricane will be taking on pr0fess0rCha0s and the Green Bay Packers in a game a enormous porportions. We will see a rematch of these two teams in Week 10.
