My defense was solid all day until the very end, when we gave up the game winning TD with 1:05 to go. My offense was sluggish, relying on Brunell most of the way, a few dropped passes were once again, the method of losing. All I have to say is, 49-10 my ass. The Jags are no pushover, get used to it.

Well, this game was one of the closer ones I've ever played. Tied at 7 after a quick interception and score in the early second half by myself, the game seemed to be going nowhere for both sides. Carolina took a 10-7 lead for the rest of the game, and costly mistakes(A dropped TD pass to Shay and a 53-yard FG attempt that only went 52 yards) helped seal the deal. With about a minute to go, I had a chance for one final drive to take the game back, but an interception returned for a touchdown was the proverbial dagger to the heart of this team.

Week 3 Results

Winning Team: New York Jets
Losing Team: Jacksonville Jaguars
Score: 39-0

Jaguars Offense

Total Offense: 153
Rushing Yards: -9
Passing Yards: 162

QB: Mark Brunell 10-34 203 yds. 5 int.
Leading Rusher: Fred Taylor 9 att. -13 yds.
Leading Recievers: Pat Johnson 4 - 106 yds.

It was a close game in the first two quarters. Both teams threw many interceptions, a couple which the Jets ran back for a touchdown. He threw to Santana Moss for most of his touchdowns which won him the game.

Week 2 Results

Winning Team: Buccaneers
Losing Team: Jaguars
Final Score: 66-3

Jacksonville Jaguars
Offense:

Total Offense: 263 yards
Rushing Yards: 11 yards
Passing Yards: 252 yards

QB: Mark Brunell 9-23 129 yards 2 int.
Dean Garrard 8-28 160 yards 3 int. RB: Fred Taylor 9-2 yards
WR: Bobby Shaw 5-109 yards

The first quater was a close game, both defenses were strong and forced the other opponent to punt the ball. However, towards the end of the second quarter, the Bucs started to score touchdown after towchdown. Mark Brunell was injured wich forced me to put in my second string quaterback who threw three straight interceptions. My rushing was ineffective against the outstanding defense of the Bucs. The Bucs' Keyshawn Johnson had a terrific game with unbelievable numbers. There was nothing I could do to stop him from scoring. (Note to self, have to win win next week.)

Week 1
Winning Team: Patriots
Losing Team: Jaguars
Final Score: 55-3 Patriots

Game Notes: Jaguars Offense

Total Offense: 163 Yards
Rushing Yards: 153 Yards
Passing Yards: 10 Yards

Mark Brunell - 12 for 38 ( 3 int)

Fred Taylor - 13 Yards (7 Carries)

Jimmy Smith- 5 Receptions for 70 Yards

Game Notes

Opening drive was good, kicked a 43 yard field goal. But unfortunately the game went downhill from there. The score tells you the rest. Horrible game on my part! Pats put up some points on the board, and is hard to beat.
