We added a review of Dinseys Monsters Inc:
The gameplay itself is generic platforming at best. It is a 3D platform game that is very similar to many other platformers from the past. There are no ingenious concepts which makes things quite simple. As Sulley you can jump, scare, talk, sneak, look around, pull up and smash things and enemies with a Tail Whip Attack. Level objectives are straight forward and involve such things as finding lost keys, locating missing scream canisters and scaring mice.

Kemco has confirmed that Batman: Dark Tomorrow, initially slated for the GameCube, will be released for the PS2 and the Xbox this fall.
Heres a bit of the press release:
HotGen Studios Limited is developing the PS2 and Xbox versions, while the GameCube version is being developed internally by Kemco, as well as other global partners.
Explosions echo throughout the mean streets of Gotham as rival gangs battle for control of the city. Anarchy reigns supreme with the sudden disappearance of Police Commissioner James Gordon and the lockdown of Arkham Asylum, home for the criminally insane. By using all of his skills, both mental and physical, as well as a variety of gadgets, Batman must stop the gang war, infiltrate Arkham Asylum and rescue the Commissioner. During this time, Batman must also piece together clues to discover the mastermind behind these seemingly unrelated events and stop an evil plan that threatens the fate of the entire world!
Batman is one of the most popular comic book characters ever created and we want to bring a title to next generation platforms that does justice to this legend, said Glenn Halseth Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Kemco. Our goal is to create a game with groundbreaking stealth animation elements that is leaps and bounds above any other Batman title to date.

Batman Vegeance review - Comments (0)

We added a review of Ubi SoftsBatman game:
The gameplay in this game did take time for me to learn. Not only can Batman be controlled in third person action but there is also a first person perspective mode. In this mode is where a lot of your weapons are used. From Batarangs, nets, bat grappling hooks, and more. Therefore gamers will need to pay close attention to the training mode that is offered and learn how to utilize his special attacks. Although there may be a slight training lesson involved in order to become oriented with Batman's weapons, it is worth the hassle as you get to use all of the neat tricks and gadgets that our dark hero uses.

We posted a review of Segas Virtua Fighter 4:
Ultimately, Virtua Fighter 4 is not the groundbreaking title that many media outlets would have you believe. If you are a fan of the series then you will be right at home. However, if you like your fighting games to play more like Tekken of Soul Calibur then you should rent VF4 first to see if it suits your desires. Regardless, Virtua Fighter 4 still showcases the technical finesse of the series, albeit watered down somewhat.

ESPN Winter X Games Snowboarding 2002 review - Comments (0)
Posted by @ 8:44 AM, EDT
We added a review of Konamis latest snowboarder:
The selling point of ESPN X Games Snowboarding 2002 is its comprehensive pro rider list, multi-level courses and the very deep Snowboarder Mode. A total of 13 real snowboarders are in the game and include the likes of Petere Line, Todd Richards, Tina Basich, Victoria Jealouse and more. There are 23 new courses from around the world including the Swiss Alps, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, Coloardo and Alaska. In the Snowboarder Mode, players are able to create a custom rider and take him or her through an entire career. This career mode is one of the deepest modes I have ever seen in a snowboarding game. It is quite gratifying to take your own boarder from the Bunny Hills to the mountains. In addition, you can even develop signature tricks and acquire sponsors to raise money and compete in the X Games.

We added a review of 989 Sports latest soccer game:
World Tour Soccer 2002 garners a good overall score thanks to its solid gameplay. Team Soho did a fantastic job of balancing the controls and numerous in game options. True footie fans will be delighted by the number of simulation elements that can be toggled both before and during the game. A very tight passing system has been implemented to give players complete control over the ball while running, passing and moving around the field. Players are also able to execute a variety of moves like high-flying headers, bicycle kicks, slide shots, hard tackles, hurdles and 360 degree spins. Even goaltenders are aggressive as they are able to perform multiple dives, blocks and moves in order to stop any potential goal.

NFL Blitz 20-02 review - Comments (0)
Posted by @ 8:07 AM, EDT
We added a review of Midways latest football game:
NFL Blitz has always relied on the sounds of helmets colliding, players screaming in agony, and bodies thumping to the ground to convey the physical nature of the game, and this year is no different. With a subwoofer kicking, your neighbors will think you are hosting an NFL game in your living room. Opposing players will also taunt your team before and after a play, but as always, a well placed powerbomb will shut them up quickly. The games sound does not take as big a step forward as the rest of the game, but it has always been strong, and still remains so.

We also posted a review of Ubisofts Tarzan game:
At times I thought the game bordered on complete boredom but thankfully the developers saw it fit to throw in a number of extreme sports type levels that are exciting, fun to play and work quite well within the game's overall framework. Some of these intense levels include surfing down a wild water river complete with crocodiles, water skiing at insane speeds, and even bungee jumping in order to reach hidden items.

Supercar Street Challenge review - Comments (0)
Posted by @ 8:53 AM, EST
We posted a review of Exakt’s racing game:
Supercar Street Challenge wants to be fast, and as a result the game’s environments and vehicles are lacking in detail. By cutting down on the details, the developer, Exakt, was able to convey an impressive sense of speed. Much of the racing takes place at over 200mph and the game’s snappy framerate is up to the task of giving you the feeling of going that fast - most of the time. If there are three cars or less on screen and the course is dry, things move along quickly. Throw in a few more cars or water on the road and the framerate ranges from poor to horrible.
Dark Summit review - Comments (0)

We also added a review of THQ’s adventure-snowboarding game, Dark Summit:
Moves on the snowboard can be achieved through button combinations. However, there is a concern here! I noticed when executing these maneuvers the reaction time is very sluggish and noticeable. There is a slight delay from what you command in hand and what is actually done on screen. If you have tried or own any of the other PS2 snowboarding titles, then this will stand out as a sore thumb.
Wave Rally review - Comments (0)
Posted by @ 8:20 AM, EST
We added a review of Eidos jetski game Wave Rally:
Wave Rallys saving grace is its gameplay. Its not superb, but in the end, the games whole is better than the sum of its parts. The game offers the standard racing modes that youd expect in a jetski game, and they are all solid. Arcade mode is for people that want to jump right into the game and dont have time for the games lengthy Season mode. The Season mode offers the same style of racing as Arcade, but over a longer period of time involving more courses. The Freestyle mode is just what it sounds like - you compete for a high score in a wide-open course. A Time Trial mode, and 2-player mode round out the games options.
