games notes: The theme for practice this week was "find a way to win". After meeting with Jake Plummer earlier in the week he stated that he understood that he was on the "HOT SEAT". Jake Plummer really hit the film room and figured out a way to stop the fast blitzes from the rams outstanding linebacker core. Going into this game we knew that quick decisions would be the key to success against this fast and athletic defense. The rams came out smokin with a 21-0 lead in the first quarter. The attitude on the sideline was still upbeat because we knew if we could take the big plays a way we still had a chance to win. The special teams decided to show up for work today. Gameball goes to the "snake". Good game angelo.

Thomas Jones and mackovia played with great heart and passion. D. Boston was on lockdown by the cowboy dbs. The cardinal defensive line played a good game also they did a pretty good job on smith and wiley.

Week 6 Results
winning team: browns
losing team: arizona
score: 15-28 browns
After a good week of practice the cards come in expecting to grind it out against the browns. The cards "D" definitely started the game off right by getting a interception on the first play of the game by CB: Duane Starks. The cards offense took the field only to go three and out, but the punt team found a way to recover a fumble by LB: J. Rutledge. On the next drive FB; mackevia scored on a short plunge. The browns defensive really smothered cards running back T. Jones led by LB: Miller. The turing point in the game was two late second quarter TDs. On a scramble Couch launched an 88 yard pass to WR: Kevin Johnson with 48 seconds left. After holding the cardinals to 3 and out Couch threw 2 deep passes one to morgan and a td to Kevin Johnson with 20
seconds left in the second quarter. During halftime the Cardinals def. coordinator came up with a good scheme to hold the browns scoreless in the second half. Unfortunately the browns defense never let down holding the cards scoreless in the second half.
Game stats: Jake Plummer 7-28 119yds, int, qb rating 29.9
T. Jones 12 car for 15 yds
D. Boston 2 rec for 34 yds

QB: jake plummer - 4-28 - 50 yds - 3 INT
Reciever: Boston - 1 rec - 46 yds
Recieving:Jones - 1 rec - 4 yards
Notes:
Hurricane is a tough competidtor, my team never really found out how to control the field effectively. He ran most of the time and he defense was very tight. The seahawks controlled the game and the clock making it hard for me to get passes off, and when i did he intercepted 3 of them. My defense was OK for the rush, but they got tired after the 30th rush of the 1st quarter. He will go far in the standings and i pitty the foo who has to play him next week.

Notes:
He scored on the opening drive, then i had nothin and he scored again in the 1st. We both scored one in the 2nd, and it was 21-7 and I thought I was back in the game, i was. no one scored in the third, he justed used the clock to his advantage. in the 4th i stepped up and fired back with 2 TDs, which tied the game. In OT he won the toss, recieved and didnt do anything with the ball. I recovered the punt and tossed a few times into a INTERCEPTION! he drove it in one one of the next downs and that was the game. It was a very close game, and eventhough it took a while to play it was a goodgame. He always set up right for the pass and rush and has a pretty good D. my D was good and i stopped him most of the time. I WAS SO CLOSE!!!!OT!!!guess ill try this week for my long awaited W!!!!
Week 2 Results:
Winning Team: Panthers
Losing Team: Cardinals
Final Score: 35-56 Panthers
Week 1 Results:
Winning Team: Ravens
Losing Team: Cardinals
Final Score: 21-24 Ravens
Game Notes: Cardinals Offense
Total Offense: 195 Yards
Rushing Yards: 21 Yards
Passing Yards: 174 Yards
Jake Plummer - 16 for 37 (2 Touchdowns)
Jones - 21 Yards (9 Carries)
Jones - 5 Receptions for 71 Yards(1 TD)
Notes:
This was a very hard fought game from both sides. The game was spilt right down the middle in every part of the game.
Cardinals:
Plummer came out throwing and didn't stop. As you can see I used him 37 times and completed 16 of them. he also had 2 very sweet td's. And 2 not so sweet int's. Jones was a star catching but not on the running side. In the begging of the game I was leading 14-10 one minute before the first half ended. Ravens picked off Jake and didn't turn back, running 20 yards back up the field. But the game wasn't all that bad for the Card's. we got a punt at the 30 and took it to the house running 70 yards for a great TD.. My net special team return yards was 110 which was great. After the half I was able to complete a 30 yard pass to sanders for a td ,then that was it for the offense on the Card's. The cards D was on hot streak stopping the RIB for the ravens..
Ravens:
He took an early led with a touchdown a minute into the game. He stopped me on my opening drive. His D was clicking in the begging. His RB was about 3/4 of the game plan rushing almost every play. So by him doing this I brought up my Safeties and he chucked a bomb deep to Taylor. His D held me most the game in the second half. toward the end of the game was very good with clock making sure it was on his side, so when I got the ball I had 10 seconds to score.
Over all a good a game. we both could have used a little practice but I think he will have a pretty good season. Not a bad game for us 2 newbie's.
